MEETING POINT BENCH

Meeting Point is not only a place where anonymous passengers and their private stories converge. It is also a product created by Luca Nichetto for Sancal, part of a tribute to the Turati station in Milan. Meeting Point is a pouf system which also integrates tables. It represents one of the four unique products created by the Italian master, each with a its own identity, while sharing a common inspiration and design language. The circle is the dominant shape, representing the station’s hole-like windows that open onto galleries and platforms. The thin steel legs, coated in textured black epoxy, create an illusion of levitation, as if the seats and tables are suspended in mid-air. The metal table tops are available in textured black or a gold finish while the ash tables are available in all the colours of Sancal’s chart.
