Commitment to sustainability
Sustainability has been at the heart of the company's activities since its inception, preserving the biodiversity of the regions in which it operates, reducing the amount of waste it produces and acting transparently using production processes that do not exploit the planet or its people.
Their designs use only FSC-certified timbers and environmentally friendly production methods to create furniture that meets the highest quality standards with the most demanding international regulations such as British Standards, UNE, Cal 133 and BIFMA.
One interesting fact is that the wood used in their products comes from Andreu World’s forests, which are cultivated in accordance with quality protocols including planting, harvesting, and drying –the wood is dried for more than a year after the harvest to prevent the wood from cracking in the future - and all phases of handling.
Andreu World is the first company to have 100% of our collections Cradle to Cradle Certified®. This certificate ensures that 100% of their collections are in the circular economy, as their components can be repaired and recycled. They use renewable energy to consume all manufacturing processes. It also states that all the collections are healthy for people and the environment because 100% of the products are free of harmful substances.
